Children and young people are not only beneficiaries of change. They can also be contributors to it. Through youth leadership, community activities and advocacy spaces, BJCK creates opportunities for young people to express their experiences, develop confidence and participate in conversations about the issues affecting their lives.
Through initiatives such as Jalan Cerita Chow Kit and wider advocacy spaces, young people are encouraged to see their own experiences as valuable knowledge.
When young people are heard, communities gain a more honest picture of the challenges they face and the solutions they can help shape.
